LEADING Job Release Note 22.11

The release note for the September update informs about five new functions in the General, Supplier Invoice, Client Invoice Draft and Client Invoice modules. The fixing of 18 minor bugs contributes to stability and performance.

In the web application of Leading JOB each update only takes place after prior consultation with the customer. You can test the new features first in your test database.

System

1. New setting for individual release of the hour period

You surely know the situation.

Individual employees have missed the end of the timesheet reporting period and still have to add their hours.

In order not to have to change the hour period for all employees, as was previously the case, but to enable a specific individual employee to add hours, a new alternative has been integrated into the agency settings in version 22.11.0:

This can be found under "Administration -> System":

This setting can now be used to temporarily provide individual employees with an alternative timesheet reporting period.

General

2. New query for "Save & Continue

Via the recently added button "Save & Continue" you have the option to create multiple data records in a row. For cases where the accidental creation of duplicate entries can be problematic, a confirmation prompt has been added when creating several data records at the same time.

Here at the example of the job creation:

3. Redesign of the status fields in the "Collaboration" widget

The widget for collaboration now looks slightly different: The statuses for changing your own attendance were previously displayed at the very top of the widget as pure text links. From now on, they appear as buttons at the bottom of the window:

4. New column totals in the list of jobs

You work a lot with the job administration and would like to have an immediate view of the current figures?

For a better, faster and more direct overview of accruing costs, revenues, etc., a totals line has been integrated for the summable part of the columns in the list of jobs at the top.

Please note that this totals line does not add any percentage columns, and the result of the totals line naturally only summarizes those entries that are displayed depending on the filters you have selected.

For more comprehensive evaluations, we still recommend using the job survey in the "Reports" area.

Reports

5. New report "Timesheet Statistics"

You need a simple overview of the accumulated hours at a client, or at one or more jobs?

In the current version, a modification of the well-known hour statistics from the desktop application has been integrated for exactly this purpose, which offers exactly these possibilities.

You can find it in the section "Reports":

After calling it up, a selection window follows in which you can decide in the upper area for which period, which employees, hour types, and above all which jobs you want to evaluate in the report.

Either you use the checkbox "All jobs", or you put single jobs (or all jobs of a campaign, or all products of a customer) with "Add to selection" into the selection window:

In the lower area you decide the level of detail (clients, products, campaigns, jobs), as well as whether you also want to see an additional line for non-client related hour types.

The result after "Ok" provides you with a simple overview, where you can see (depending on the level of detail) a cross total per entry, as well as the respective total of the employees (included in it):

The bottom margin provides you with a sum line about the client-related hours of the total selection, depending on the selection a sum line about the non-client-related hours, as well as a total sum for the complete selection (as well as per employee, of course).
