LEADING Job Release Note 25.6

The new update 25.6 makes LEADING Job even easier to use on a daily basis.

In the overview of supplier invoices, you can now see immediately whether an SI book is blocked – and why. When you cancel an supplier invoice, existing texts are automatically transferred to the duplicate invoice.

In the timesheet section, you can delete several jobs at once instead of individually. And in the hour category report, two new columns help you keep a better overview.

In the web application of Leading JOB each update only takes place after prior consultation with the customer. You can test the new features first in your test database.

Supplier Invoice

1. Easier filtering of invoice books – thanks to two new columns

What’s new?
Two new columns have been added to the overview of supplier invoices:

  • "Book Status" shows whether an invoice book is active or inactive.
  • "Book Reason for Blocking" explains why a book has been blocked, if applicable.

Why is it important?
Inactive or blocked books are usually not needed in daily work.
The new columns allow you to filter accordingly and focus only on the relevant entries.

2. Automatic copy of texts into duplicate when cancelling a supplier invoice

What’s new?
When a supplier invoice is cancelled and duplicated, all existing texts are now automatically transferred to the new version.

The function is activated when the checkbox “Generate supplier invoice that can be approved?” is checked in the cancellation dialog.

Why is it important?
The new invoice can be edited immediately without having to re-enter text, since the original content is carried over automatically.

Timesheet

3. Remove multiple jobs from timesheet at once

What’s new?
There are now checkboxes next to each job in the timesheet job list. You can select multiple jobs and delete them all at once using a new (visible only after selection) “Remove job” button.

If you want to select or deselect all checkboxes, there is a button next to them allowing you to choose “Select All” or “None”:

Why is it important?
This makes it much faster and easier to clean up time entries – especially when removing many jobs at once after a project ends.

Reporting

4. Better overview in the “Hour Categories” report – thanks to two new columns

What’s new?
The master data report “Hour Categories” now includes two new columns:

  • “Number”: a unique ID for each time category.
  • “Sort No”: a freely definable number to control the sorting order of hour categories.

Why is it important?
The new columns allow you to organize and sort hour categories more clearly, making them easier to find in evaluations and reports.
