LEADING Job Release Note 25.5
Small but significant:
The new update 25.5 introduces three new features and four detailed improvements – specifically designed to make your daily work easier.
In the web application of Leading JOB each update only takes place after prior consultation with the customer. You can test the new features first in your test database.
General
1. Search for comma amounts in all numeric columns
In all columns containing numbers or amounts that can be filtered, you can now search specifically for decimal places – e.g. for "145.50" or "2,000.00".
Here is an example from the client invoices:

Both comma and decimal point separation are supported – regardless of whether you write 1234.56 or 1234,56.
This facilitates precise filtering, e.g. in incoming or outgoing invoices – even with rounding differences or amounts accurate to the nearest cent.
Cost estimate & Job
2. Automatic updating of plan values for synchronised cost estimate variants
If a job is linked to a cost estimate of the type “Synchronized” and a new variant is created after the original cost estimate has been approved, this variant will automatically replace the previous planning values in the job – provided it is also approved and the original cost estimate is cancelled at the same time.
Important: The update only applies to services that have not yet been further processed – e.g. if no supplier order has been issued or no supplier invoice has been created.
This ensures that the job and the cost estimate remain consistent, even when planning changes – without the need for manual adjustments.

3. Sending emails via different SMTP servers for each agency
Starting with version 25.5.1, it is possible to send system emails for each agency via their own SMTP servers.
This feature is particularly relevant if several agencies work in a shared LEADING job database but want to process their emails (e.g. invoices, approvals or notifications) via separate technical infrastructures.
The configuration is carried out in the background by Qualiant Software.
