LEADING Job Release Note 25.3
In version 25.3 of LEADING Job, six new features enhance clarity and efficiency: Modules can now be opened in new browser tabs using Ctrl + Click, public holidays are displayed in the calendar and timesheet view, and a new warning window helps prevent accidental loss of task changes in the Gantt chart. The team overview remains clearly structured when scrolling. In the reports section, results can be marked as favorites directly, and the display can be filtered to show only custom reports.
In the web application of Leading JOB each update only takes place after prior consultation with the customer. You can test the new features first in your test database.
General
1. Open module in a new tab using Ctrl + Left Click
From now on, modules in the menu can be opened in a new browser tab using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Left Click.
This function is also available in certain subwindows, such as the “System” window under Administration.
Timesheet
2. Public holidays visible in calendar and timesheet
Imported public holidays now appear directly in:
- the weekly time timesheet view
- the calendar widget on the dashboard
This gives your team a quick overview of upcoming holidays.
Project and Resource Management
3. Warning for unsaved task changes
A new alert appears in the Gantt chart if task changes have been made but not saved before closing the window.
- Click “Yes”: discard changes
- Click “No”: go back and save first
4. Column header remains visible when scrolling
In the team overview of the project and resource management module, the column header now remains fixed and visible while scrolling.
Reports
5. Mark reports as favorites directly in result view
A report can now be added to your favorites list directly from the report result by clicking the star icon – a shortcut to the previous method via the report list.
6. Filter view to custom reports only
Created your own reports? (We show you how to do that in the manual). As of version 25.3, a new toggle in the report overview allows you to hide all standard reports so that only your custom reports are displayed.
