LEADING Job Release Note 21.3
The third Release Note this year again brings more stability with the fix of nine small bugs. In addition, there are two new functions in the Jobs and Timesheet modules.
In Periscope, the web application of LEADING Job, each update only takes place after prior consultation with the customer. You can test the new features first in your test database.
Jobs
1. More description options through new tab "Additional information"
Would you like to be able to add various information to your jobs on your own?
From now on this is possible, because we have released the general innovation "Additional information" now for the module "Jobs".
Note: Additional information will be added to other modules in the coming versions.
The possibility to add new additional information is available under "Administration -> System -> Additional information":
With the button "Add new entry" you get the following list of possible new entries:
- String
- Note
- Number
- Checkbox
- Date
- Time
- Date and time
- Date range
- Option list
- Binary documents
Using the example "Note":
You define with which name the field should be created, decide whether it should be a field "for all agencies", or whether it should basically be a mandatory field.
The other parameters result from the type of the field, and can be freely chosen by you.
In the case of "Note" it is the minimum required and maximum possible number of characters.
After saving, the new entry should be in the list of "Additional information / Jobs":
If you now switch to the jobs, you will find the new tab "Additional information" in the header data, in which you can manage, save and thus pass on the additional entries you have created:

2. Switching between jobs via shortcut keys
You like to use the shortcut Ctrl + arrow keys to jump from field to field in the weekly time timesheets?
It bothers you that you can only switch within a job in this way?
That changes from now on, because now you can jump with this key combination into any field.
