General

1. Checkbox flag "only assigned ..." applies to all modules

One for all and all for one: You've already asked yourself why you have to check the box "only assigned ..." in every module?

From now on one single click is enough! The last selected setting, no matter in which module it was set, will be saved in the basic settings of the user to be automatically applied to every other module.

An example: If you activate the checkbox "only assigned jobs" in the job module, the checkbox "only assigned CEs" is also automatically activated in the selection for the cost estimates module.

2. Checkbox "only assigned" invisible if no selection possible

Why should we show checkboxes that cannot be changed anyway? Good question, because such settings actually only take up space.

Due to the privileges assigned to them, many users are not able to see anything other than the entries explicitly assigned to them (jobs, CEs, etc.).

Since the corresponding checkbox appears grayed out anyway and cannot be changed, we will hide it from now on, unless the employees have the privilege to "see all (not only assigned)" for the respective module.

For employees who have this privilege, the checkbox will, of course, still appear unchanged.

Jobs

3. Background colour for text positionsHintergrundfarbe für Textpositionen

In an large-scaled job you have created subtotals for groups of positions, but you are still lacking overview and easy orientation between different segments of the job?

The new background colour for text positions will be a great help here.

In most cases, these text positions are set so that they form the heading of a totals block.
To make it easier to keep track, these text positions are now displayed with their own background colour in Periscope:

As soon as you click on the subtotal of the block, it will be specially coloured as usual and the contained positions will also be highlighted.

The new background colour of the text position is reset to white while the subtotal block is actively selected.

Table of hours

4. Two new columns for the table of hours at "Hours tabularly"

You are missing information in the table of hours? For example, the "job name" and the name of the "service group"?

We can help you with that from now on. The two columns have been added to the layout selection for the display of hours under "Hours tabularly".

Important: This change only applies to the LEADING Job Desktop application for the time being, as "Hours tabularly" is a module that has not yet been ported.
After porting the module the two columns will be available in Periscope automatically.

Report

5. New report for project managers to display the hours on their jobs Jobs

You are the project manager of a job and are looking for a report to check the accumulated hours?

Then the new report "Timesheet Report Job PM" will certainly make you happy.

The new report contains a simple selection mask with jobs, as well as a selection for "from date" and "to date" (of hours).

The result of the report shows the time sheets of the employees, including a direct comparison between the price and the cost of the hours, as well as all available time sheet comments.

This report is specifically intended for project managers of a job and cannot be accessed by other team members.
